In over a decade, we have taken over 70,000 photos of Italy and our portfolio of properties. My favorite towns, beaches, restaurants, vineyards, markets, craftspeople, olive groves, farms, etc.  Regarding the properties we personally chose each property. This is based on the best location, views, structure and level of comfort. “We have a relationships with each property owner, sharing wine & meals over captivating stories of their villas & towns.” “Each property is like entering a fairy tale and many are centuries old rich in historical value.” We have personally selected, photographed & inspected each vacation property.

Italy is our passion foremost and my desire to share the best of what we have learned to ensure you have a wonderful authentic Italian experience!

Whether traveling to Italy or other destinations all locations are rich in culture & history. An authentic  experience is important to us, thus we share advise on where to visit, dine, shop & adventure, during your stay in one of our properties.

Much of this information is located in our blogs at the “explore” link of this site. We have our favorite chefs, boat captains and friends we will introduce to you, so that your journey will be fascinating.

We are proud to share our portfolio of holiday properties with you, where you will enjoy a holiday rich in culture, comfort & beauty. Please let us know how we can help to make this a once in a lifetime memory for you.

Giampiero Rosati

Operations in Italy & your Italian Aficionado

Giampiero was born in the small mountain village of Firenzuola 50 km North of Florence. He is passionate about his country and the Italian way of life. He is truly an aficionado of wine, food, history and culture. He welcomes each of you to his Agriturismo Locanda Rosati, where for over 20 years he has hosted guests from all over the world. Locanda is located just off of A1 in Umbria; Giampiero lives on the vast property amongst the hazelnut & olive groves.

Many guests have gathered here to share great wine, food and stories.
Locanda Rosati was one of the first establishments awarded Locande d’Italia for their pioneering efforts, in Italy’s Slow Food movement. For over a decade he continues to host the Harvard University department of psychiatry’s bi-annual refuge trauma seminars held & organized by Giampiero in Orvieto.
Many of our clients begin or end their holiday with Giampiero at Locanda. It is here, where you will be inspired by long tales over a “farm to table” culinary experience. He has appeared on television in Australia & the US. Locanda is featured in many publishings including travel books. He has been visited by Rick Steves, Karen Brown and other travel enthusiasts.
You can read more about Giampiero on Trip Advisor or by visiting his website Locanda Rosati, in Orvieto, where he lives.
