Italy is Romance!

What more can you ask for? Italy has the most picturesque backdrops for the perfect romance novel, and it has been the setting for movies, opera’s, love stories.. The Italians are passionate people and this is the magic, that attracts people from all over the world. Every time I travel to Italy, I meet people from as far as New Zealand and Japan. The neighboring european towns travel to Italy as well.  And why not, the jaw dropping views, the entire country is surrounded by crystal blue seas and romantic lakes. And then there is the food & wine. The music and the language. Italy is pure passion, the ambiance is perfect for love and romance.

Italians are very passionate. They don’t take things lightly and they know quite well they are blessed to live in Italy. The put passion into everything they do from making wine, to their perfectly manicured vegetable gardens, olive groves, vineyards, everything is well cared for. They feed their pigs only the best grains and believe in healthy food. The Italians pioneered the slow food movement, they put everything into their culinary dishes, from the bread & cheeses to the wines & espresso. The very best home grown ingredients and nurtured.  When I visit the Villas, I walk through the vegetable gardens and since I visit mostly in the warm climates, it is quite often that I just pick the figs, fruits and tomatoes and eat them when I am working.  A simple gondola ride in Venice, or on a wooden boat in Lake Como, will be part of your memory for a lifetime.

They take great pride in just about everything they do, including romance. It’s easy to nurture Amore in Italy. Love and Passion are just, in my opinion a continuance of everything Italians do with extreme passion, romance is the best part of this country. It is the perfect place for a wedding, birthday, anniversary or honeymoon!
