Chianti Classico’s Harvest Festival

GREVE IN CHIANTI:  Every year in Chianti they celebrate the Harvest with the “Chianti Classico” Wine Festival.  In Greve every year on the second weekend of September and the preceding Thursday and Friday. The Festival begins on Thursday, the festival starts at about 5 pm, and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at about 11 am and the stands close at about 8 pm. There are tables throughout the town with the local vineyards presenting their wines. There is food and lots of fun.

If you plan to stay a full week then please plan on more fun is every September on the 3rd weekend of September in Panzano, the home of Dario Cecchini the Butcher of Panzano, make reservations early for the best dinner event in Chianti at his restaurant.
