The Autumn is Harvest time!

“Harvest & time for a Festa!”
As you travel throughout Italy in September, you’ll surely be driving behind a large bucket truck filled with ripened Grapes. Everyone is working hard and happy to do so! It’s the harvest. You can see the farmers carefully picking and sampling the fruits of the season! Everyone is working and anxious to get the perfectly ripened grapes into the process. If you stop by any vineyard the workers are happy to stop for the locals to talk about the harvest of the season and the condition of the grapes. They will even pull them off of the vine during their passionate discussion and taste one grape at a time. It is one of the prides of Italy!
The annual wine harvest — when the countryside comes alive with festivals, feasts and celebrations is the perfect time to be in Italy.
