Luxury Val d'Orcia Villa

Villa Val d’Orcia is nestled high in the rolling hills of the Val d’Orcia valley. One of our favorites in Italy, from the villa you with be taken away with expansive panoramic views of Tuscany. The property is located on 700 acres of fertile land, woods, fruit trees, vegetable gardens and vineyards. In the 18th century, when it was built, it was a share cropping farmhouse; today it’s at the core of wine valley. This villa is located high above the valley, with panoramic views of the vineyards from which Super Tuscan wines are produced.

In 2011 this former farmhouse underwent a meticulous renovation from a talented and famous local architect, who transformed in into a luxury Villa. No detail went unnoticed in the selection of the detail of colors, fabrics and furnishings which accentuate the true Tuscan themes throughout the Villa. The gardens are manicured daily by a gardener I met. This man puts his heart into the nurturing the healthy and organic fruits, vegetables and flowers. This Villa can be easily seen across the countryside from far in the distance. Enjoy the views from every angle of the property, while sipping evening wine, a meal outdoors or relaxing by the elevated pool.

This property has high beam ceilings, traditional rich tiles of the Tuscan valley, up scale furnishings, large bathrooms with great shower heads and sophisticated elegance.  The 6 large bedrooms  can comfortably accommodate 12 guests. The kitchen is large and brightly colored. All of the furnishings are of whitewashed woods and bright fabrics, the curtains are flowing and if you choose to open the windows the fresh country air will penetrate through your senses.

The villa is completely fenced and secure; you’ll be provided with 4 sets of keys and remote controls for the gate. The house is provided with computer and printer, 1 i-pod and 2 dock stations, satellite TV, professional laundry and dryer machines, hairdryers in every bathroom, voltage transformers and adaptors, GPS for the car. Cots, cradles, high chairs for babies are available if needed.

Your stay also includes a free tour of the vineyards and a wine tasting, including six complimentary bottles of Le Cupole wine, that will welcome your arrival. If you’d like to sample other great Tuscan wines, there is a wine list from which you can choose. We loved this villa, you will not want to leave!
