Very relaxing Vacation on Lake Como

We thoroughly enjoyed our wonderful stay at the Villa Vittorio on Lake Como.  Ten of us (family and friends) were thrilled with the villa accommodations, the lovely grounds, our private motorboat, the pair of swans that came to visit on several occasions and a view that was “to die for.”  Only a ten-minute drive to Bellagio, it provided a wonderful base from which to take day trips around the lake.  We ate breakfast and several dinners on the terrace with the gorgeous view of the lake as our backdrop. We played pool, danced on the terrace, and lounged around the beautiful swimming pool after coming back to the villa from our day trips. Also had two terrific dinners cooked by “Chef Maria” who was a delight and an excellent cook.  We all hated to leave the villa – it was a slice of paradise that we may never be able to duplicate again.
