Villa Manuela Positano

As a very experienced independent traveler, I haven’t tended to use agencies/consultants, but after speaking with Christine, i completely understand the appeal, and the actual need in a place like the Amalfi Coast.

As a mixed generation family who loves world travel (Grandparents age 70, their kids (30-40s) and their grandkids (age 3-5) we were looking for a convenient, family friendly, but still luxurious space to celebrate several milestones.  Christine had the insider knowledge to provide us with excellent recommendations and access to places we didn’t even know to consider.

She was extraordinarily helpful when after a famous Italian filmmaker wanted to use the villa we had rented in Scala.  She negotiated to find an even more amazing home in Positano.  She left it up to us if we wanted to continue with the Scala home or upgrade to the amazing and luxury Villa Manuela in Positano.  What I really appreciated was that she negotiated and advocated on behalf of her client, and upgraded us to an even more appealing alternative, and ultimately left the choices up to us (for the same price). Christine was really amazing and we are so greatly appreciative of all her efforts to make our stay wonderful.

We could not have asked for a more magical and warm place to stay then Villa Manuela. The owners, Manuela and her husband are natives of Postiano, were welcoming and generous. The villa was ideally located just a 15 min walk into town with picture perfect views of the city and just 200 steps from a quiet practically private beach.  The outdoor spaces, pool, gardens were well kept and just gorgeous and the interiors were clean, modern and spacious for our large family gatherings. Just saying we were guests of the home seemed to open doors for us, get us some extra pours of limoncello and get everyone smiling!

All of Christine’s recommendations were spot on and just at the price point we wanted!  The driver Sergio she works with is funny, reliable and of the best standards – with all kinds of extra perks from offering us a local cell phone to use to contact him, to WIFI in his van, to having extra car seats for the kids to fall asleep in after late night dinners.

She listened to our needs, and made recommendations based on them, considering the varying needs of grandparents, adults on the go, and little ones too.

I could not have asked for a more responsive and helpful team than Christine’s to help us with the details of our trip.  Christine is like that really good friend who knows all the great places to visit and knows all the people to make your trip a success.
