Villa Saba

Villa Saba was the perfect location to explore the Brunello wine country. Even though you wake to the sound of the sheep bells from the fields surrounding the Villa, your only 10 minutes from Pienza.
The Villa is very warm and inviting. It has all of the charm of a Tuscan farm house but with every modern convenience that you would want. Every bedroom had it’s own bathroom. Two of the rooms had a bubble tub so large that 2 people could easily fit in and most of the rooms include very nice rain shower heads. The beds were very comfortable with the each room well decorated.
There are two kitchens in the house. Both are very well stocked with dishes, glasses, silverware, serving pieces and cookware. The high end range in the kitchen (6 gas burners plus a griddle) worked so well, that I want one for my home by the time we left.
The owners met us at the Villa for check in which could not have been easier. Barbara walked us around the property and showed us how everything worked. In addition, a wonderful welcome dinner was prepared for us onsite. Checkout was fast and easy at the end of our stay.
In addition the rental company, Crazy for Italy, was great. They recommended wonderful wineries in the area, made reservations for us, and suggested places to see while we were in the area.

Overall it was such a great experience, we wouldn’t change a thing!
