Crazy for Travel, LLC was organized as a passion and a hobby over a decade ago; we have taken 70,000 photos of Italy. Christina is seen in many of the property photos as she is visiting. Many are on this site, social media and blogs. We share our  favorite towns, beaches, restaurants, vineyards, markets, craftspeople, olive groves, farms, etc. We have personally selected, photographed & inspected each and every vacation property. Our choices are based on the best location, views, structure and level of comfort. “We have a relationships with each property owner; we enjoy sharing wine & meals over captivating stories of their families, villas & history.” “Each property is like entering a fairytale as many are centuries old and rich in historical value.”

Italy is our passion and my foremost desire to share the best of what we have learned and experienced in Italy. We will ensure you have a wonderful authentic travel experience!

Much of this information is located in our blogs at the “explore” link of this site. We list some our favorite chefs, boat captains and “fun things” to do while in Italy. We assure you, like many of our friends your journey will be “perfetto!”

We are proud to share our portfolio of holiday properties with you, where you will enjoy a holiday rich in culture, comfort & beauty!

Crazy for Travel, LLC is the name of the company and PVOI is simply the URL.

Operations in Italy & your Italian Aficionado, President

Giampiero Rosati was born in the small mountain village of Firenzuola 50 km North of Florence. He is passionate about his country and the Italian way of life. He is truly an aficionado of wine, food, history and culture. He welcomes each of you to his Agriturismo Locanda Rosati, where for over 20 years he has hosted guests from all over the world. Locanda is located just off of A1 in Umbria; Giampiero lives on the vast property amongst the hazelnut & olive groves.

Many guests have gathered here to share great wine, food and stories.
Locanda Rosati was one of the first establishments awarded “Locande d’Italia” for their pioneering efforts, in Italy’s Slow Food movement. For over a decade he continues to host the Harvard University department of psychiatry’s bi-annual refuge trauma seminars held & organized by Giampiero in Orvieto.

Many of our clients begin or end their holiday with Giampiero at Locanda. It is here, where you will be inspired by long tales over a “farm to table” culinary experience. He has appeared on television in Australia & the US. Locanda is featured in many publishings including travel books. He has been visited by Rick Steves, Karen Brown and other travel enthusiasts.
You can read more about Giampiero on Trip Advisor or by visiting his website Locanda Rosati, in Orvieto, where he lives.
