For me, Paris is the most romantic place in the world, nothing compares. Deep in architecture, history and passion. This apartment completes the Parisian romance. With deep colors of fuchsia and grey this is a gem within the town. The building is a traditional Parisian experience combining the new and old. Though its architecture nods to the past, a recent renovation opened the layout and refreshed the decor with contemporary furnishings. The five-bedroom villa’s location in the 16th arrondissement puts you close to the best museums and historic sites, but also the shopping destinations of the moment.
Enter Etoile through a secured door with video surveillance, and leave your car in one of two parking spaces. Perfectly suited to entertaining or a quiet evening in, the villa has a balcony, sound system, television and Wi-Fi, as well as modern comforts like air conditioning and laundry facilities. A guest studio with its own entrance and kitchenette affords privacy in the midst of larger groups.
Though the villa’s paneled walls, parquet floors, stone fireplace and large windows are hallmarks of the 19th-century Parisian apartment, the furnishings and artwork represent a range of eras. The central living room’s roll-arm sofas are laid out on a brilliant red rug and divided by a mirrored coffee table, and in the adjacent television room, contemporary artwork is paired with a sleek sectional. There’s space for ten in the dining room, but more casual meals can be taken at the breakfast bar in the fully equipped, state-of-the-art Bulthaup kitchen.
Each of the five bedrooms at Etoile has an en-suite bathroom and television. There are two bedrooms with king beds, one of which has a sitting area and the other of which has a dressing area. A third bedroom has a queen bed and office area, and a fourth bedroom has a double bed and office area. The fifth bedroom, located in the guest studio, has a queen bed.
