Luxury Tuscany Resort
The location in Tuscany was essential to creating a sense of calm, relaxation and wellbeing, It has enabled us to transport you far away from the stresses of the outside world. In fact, we felt an immediate spiritual connection to this place, which inspired an internal seed that with love and passion grew into the Borgo our guests enjoy today. With a thirteenth-century villa at its heart, our hotel is a haven where people come to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a taste of heaven. Nestled in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, luxury knows no limits.
an environment where clarity of mind and food for the soul are abundant. The land is not only stunningly beautiful but also rich and fertile, providing us with a bounty of biodynamic vegetables, herbs and honey, which our kitchen transforms into culinary delights. Set on a working farm, the villa is bathed in the beauty of its surroundings.
Our definition of luxury is attention to detail, unsurpassed friendly service and tailored experiences in a comfortable and stylish setting. We have taken inspiration from our own personal travels and observations, pinpointing the very details that make the difference between a five-star hotel and the ‘Borgo experience’.
Borgo was born from our personal dream, a home for our family.
They stumbled across Borgo’s dilapidated ruins in 2001, then nothing more than a crumbling hamlet amidst fields of mud, and set about planning its restoration to bring the hamlet back to life.
Feeling it needed to be shared, we embarked upon the long and ever-evolving journey to create an intimate boutique-style hotel, and have spent years lovingly reinstating Borgo’s long-forgotten noble splendor, when it was a healing retreat for pilgrims to rest and recuperate.
Our vision for the gardens and fields surrounding the villa involved elaborate landscaping and the intensive planting of more than 300,000 plants, however the calming and recuperative power of the place inspired us onwards.
To restore the estate to its former glory, local craftsmen worked with artisans from around the world. ӬWith plants, furniture and architectural details sourced throughout Italy and Europe together with years of dedication, Borgo Santo Pietro has flourished into the elegant and welcoming place we dreamed it would be.
Borgo is still evolving, and with it our passion to ensure that guests experience a home away from home.
The villa’s sixteen bedroom suites provide the same level of luxury and style; each has an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and its own sitting area. In the main house, there are six bedrooms with king beds, one of which has a private balcony, two bedrooms with queen beds, and one bedroom with two twin beds that can be combined into a queen. In the garden house, you’ll find seven bedrooms with king beds; four have private terraces, three open to a shared courtyard, and one has both a terrace and courtyard access.
During your stay, you can arrange to experience local culture firsthand at a cooking lesson, wine tasting or pottery class, or see the Tuscan hills on horseback. Bring your clubs for a round at the golf course, a 30-minute drive away. If you tire of lounging by the pool or simply want to enjoy dinner in a different setting, the beach.
