Luxury Villa in Val D'Orica, Tuscany
Villa Angelina is a large stone villa perfectly situation in the hills of Tuscany. It has been recently restored, combining traditional materials as old cotton for the floors and oak beams for the ceilings, alongside vintage furniture and contemporary art works. The owner, with a very artistic flair, hand-selected every aspect of the unique decor, after searching for these one-of-a-kind treasures from all over the world. You will quickly realize that each piece was carefully selected to perfectly accentuate the colors of the rooms, in bright reds, golds, and blues. With insulated large walls and the ventilated roof, the house remains naturally cool during hot summer months.
The home comfortably sleeps up to 11 people in 5 double bedrooms and 1 single, each with its own bathroom. On request, there is an extra bedroom available in the annex with an en-suite bathroom, at no additional cost. The living area on the ground floor is very large with a kitchen area on one side, two dining tables accommodating up to 16 guests, and a sitting area at the opposite side with a charming stone fireplace and doors with direct access to the straw sheltered stone paved patio, where a long table accommodates up to 20 guests. All of the kitchenware is highly professional, making the preparation of meals a real pleasure. This villa hosted a famous musician who stayed here during a concert in 2015.
At 4 km. from Monticchiello and 8 km. from Montepulciano, located on a hill facing the sunset, L’Iperbole is an impressive 800 sq. mts. stone house, with a tower from which to enjoy the beautiful view on the Val D’Orcia and it’s rolling hills
The space
This wonderful view can be enjoyed from the house and garden and most of all from the tower that dominates these ancient walls. This 800 sq.mts. villa has been recently restored combining traditional materials as old terracotta for the floors and oak beams for the ceilings with vintage furniture and contemporary art works. The insulated large walls and the ventilated roof keep the house naturally cool during hot summer months with no need of air conditioning. All kitchenware is highly professional making the preparation of meals a real pleasure.
Guest access
The living area on the ground floor is a 120 sq.mts. space with a kitchen area on one side, two dining tables accomodating up to 16 guests and a sitting area at the opposite side with a charming stone fireplace. French windows open to the outdoor sheltered dining patio seating up to 20 guests. The veg. garden full of flowers and all sorts of organic vegetables is at guest’s disposal. There is a ping pong table, football table, two mountain bikes and two racers. And lot’s of toys for children up to 6 years old. A crib, a high chair, children’s bed can be provided
Villa Angelina is only available during high season, which is from May until September. Children are very welcome; we can provide cots, a wooden crib, high chairs, strollers, and many toys.
Check in
Check-in is Saturday at 4:00 PM; Check-out is Saturday at 10:00 AM.
Security Deposit
Upon arrival, the property manager will ask you to pay a security deposit of €1000, payable in cash and a credit card will also be collected. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure.
Extra Costs
Consumables, spa services, babysitting service, chef service, cooking classes, additional linen changes, private tours of nearby towns, and olive oil tastings. However, all may be arranged upon prior request.
What's Included in the Cost
Daily maid service, garden maintenance, weekly linen change, mid week towel change, and fire wood.
