Timeless Elegance on Lake Como
The passageway to Villa Batel (sister property B ) is down a winding path leading to the Lake. As you make your way down towards the villa, you will find yourself in a private part of the lake. The words to describe the beauty here can only be found in poetry. As I entered the gates, I was greeted by one of the staff, a kind man with a warm smile, who offered to drive me down in his cart. I preferred to walk, as I wanted to take in the “once in a lifetime” experience of strolling down the private gardens, which overlooked the most enchanting lake in all of Italy. I knew he was waiting at the entrance, but I was strolling slowly, as the views from very angle were breathtaking. The pathway, as you approach is lined with rose bushes of pinks, white & yellow blossoms. I would have stood still for hours, beneath tall trees overlooking the lake in the distance, as I was overwhelmed with my surroundings.
As I approached, I saw two imposing villas, that the owners lovingly restored. The villas both sitting perfecting situated on the lake, each boasting seven acres of reciprocal views surrounded by mature foliage and calm waters. There is a large ground level parking garage, providing an option to drive directly to the property and take an elevator to the villa. This offers convenience for those who may have mobility restrictions or small children. However, I found the walk to be quite enjoyable.
The entrance leading to villa the smaller of the two properties is quite charming. It is situated with a front courtyard with lemon trees and vines, that lead to the front door. Once inside, I was intrigued to stroll through the home, which I found to be very charming & beautiful. Upon entering the Villa there is a center foyer with a sun window above, which allows the natural night to enter into the center of the home permitting light over multiple levels.
The interiors of the villa are decorated very tastefully with a combination of fabrics and prints of soft pastel colors. The furnishings are of various rich woods, crystal chandeliers and antiques. It is apparent once you enter, that its decor was meticulously selected. It is a bright villa with soft colors, that are offset well from the greyish green waters of the lake. The windows of the property are very unique, some oval in shape, from every window you can see the lake or mature tall trees and seemingly endless gardens. There is a large living room with a fireplaces, which provides a cozy ambiance. From the Living and dining rooms, there are multiple large doors that lead to the terrace. You will never be without beautiful views from every room. The bedrooms are large and comfortable with delicate decor, separated by the center sunlit foyer. The villas are unique, while elegantly decorated, also cozy and comfortable. There is a large kitchen with full amenities including a microwave & dishwasher. There is a staff available to provide prepared meals and services.
From the large terrace, you can enjoy the lake over al fresco dining, with seating to accommodate a party of 12. In the evening enjoy a glass of wine, while experiencing the continuous soothing gentle breezes amidst the sunset off the lake. All the while birds gracefully float above Lake Como. Sail boats and sea planes gracefully passing by, all adding to the harmonious characteristics of being on Lake Como. Across the lake in the distance, you will see the other villas nestled high in the hills. At night, the lights will glisten off of the lake providing the perfect setting for a wedding or any special occasion.
The villa has a private pool accessible by an intricate stone pathway, just above the property. There are lounge chairs and comfortable areas for relaxation. From here, you will enjoy elevated views of the lake, while you are tucked away in your own private oasis. Further, this property has its own boat dock and a gate at the end of the courtyard, which lead to the small town of Blevio. You will find there a restaurant and a charming church. This nearby small village invites the option for a stroll into town and dining at a restaurant, should you desire to be within walking distance to your private villa. You will also find local tennis courts, as additional outdoor recreation option.
Villa A Piccola with the Villa B are among the largest lake front private properties on Lake Como. These two historic properties are offered independently or together, comprising the treasured private estates, situated above Lake Como.
Located nearby the town of Como, it is a short 15 minute boat ride outside the town. The location is ideal for privacy and seclusion if you choose to make relaxation a priority, or an exciting nightlife scene in the neighboring towns. ~ Christine

Check in is at 4:00 PM; Check out is at 10:00 AM.
Security Deposit
€5000,00 Euros paid to us and held by our agency. This should be received 2 weeks prior to check in of your Villa. This will be refunded in a check to you after check out (less any damages).
Extra Costs
Beverages, wine and food are not included in the cost of the villa rental. Additional chef services outside of the scheduled times are €13,00 per hour. Personal Laundry is €12,00 per hour. Gasoline for the boat is not included in the cost. Extra linen change extra changes € 40 per bed, € 20 per bath. Additional cooking services per staff outside of the hours listed is €13,00 per hour per staff.
What's Included in the Cost
Staff of a bulter, chef and housekeeper. Cleaning 4 hours per day – 7 days per week, Linens changed twice weekly, towel changed daily, meals, cook & butter for 3 meals, 6 days per week. Breakfast 8:45 – 10:00 am, Lunch 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm, dinner, 7:30 – 9:30 pm. Additional cooking services outside of the times will be charged at €13,00 per hour. Each villa includes a 40 hp outboard powered speed boat (20 knots, 6 pax). Gasoline & Skipper are an extra cost. Heating, Internet connectivity, WiFi, AC, Tennis courts 5 minutes by walking
