Romantic Lake Como Villa

We visited this Villa in 2015. It is located above the lake via a road directly up. As we approached the gates I say the white structure perching above the gates and we had no idea what awaited us there. Once the gates opened lush gardens with beautiful roses and palm trees welcomed us to one of the most beautiful panoramic views above the Lake.

This picturesque Villa located on the west shore of Lake Como. From the villa, one can see across from the headland of Bellagio to the north Alps and as far as Nesso to the south. Just in front of the villa is the classic Sisinnio church. This iconic structure has been represented in a Winston Churchill water colour, painted from the garden of Villa.

Relax off in the palatial swimming pool with statue. The deck features plenty of lounge chairs and parasols for relaxing in sun or shade. A barbeque sets the tone for some lovely alfresco dining in the pastoral Italian countryside.  The property is accentuated with beautiful landscape of fruit trees, roses, and vines, (notice the photo I took while I was there). Indoors, the home offers a full home entertainment system with satellite TV as well as a movie and music library. Other perks include wine storage, Wi-Fi and a mini spa with chromo therapy shower and aroma therapy tub.

The property was fully restored in 2012, while preserving original details and materials. Marble and terracotta floors, doors, iron works and decorations date to 1911. Antique furniture, paintings and statues create a refined atmosphere. The skylight high above the living area is a tour de force. The massive terracotta dining table with retro leather seating makes a formidable setting for a special event.

This Luxury newly Restored 5 star Lake Como Villa with Lake Views was the home of a a wealthy industrial family from Milan. The Villa was built in 1911 in  picturesque holiday resort on the west shore of Como lake. Sunny, elevated position, with stunning view of the lake.

A Roman origin pedestrian road leads from the villa to the town and lake, covering a height difference of over 260 feet on a path just over 2600 feet in distance. The Villa itself is located over 900 feet above sea level in a large, sunny inlet on the western shore of Lake Como, between Laglio (where George Clooney’s house is located) and Tremezzo, a favorite haunt of many VIPs. The ancient center of the village is also very picturesque. A good number of restaurants, bars, coffee shops and pubs attract visitors from all over the world.

This villa sleeps 11 plus 2 children. It has been recently restored to preserve all of its ancient details. Together the antique furniture, extravagant paintings, and handcrafted statues create an elite luxurious atmosphere. This property also features original marble, terracotta floors, Iron, Grand drawing room for entertaining.
