Grand Lake Como Villa near Town

We visited this gated property in 2016; it is located just outside of the town of Como, which makes this ideal for large groups who want to freely roam the areas without needed multiple vehicles for transportation. This in addition to the large pool with stunning views at night or during the day of the views. The garden is large both in the front with a historic large fountain which just behind is the entrance to the grand dramatic foyer with a winding staircase and large terrace above. The Villa has “old world” charm, typical of the Lake Como traditional decor. The owner a delightful man who proudly showed us the property. They have made updates while maintaining the authentic theme and treasures throughout the Villa.

Here you will enjoy the proximity to the town and your ability to walk directly behind the property to a walkway in either direction. This provides freedom to roam anywhere, which is a great plus to have access to multiple directions and explore the areas. The town offers great nightlife of cafe’s and shopping during the day. There you can take a ferry up towards Bellagio, or to any of the lakeside towns for day trips with ease via the waterway.

The Villa is large with ample spaces for groups and families.  There are guests houses that are separate but within the compound of the Villa. The Guest house has additional amenities including air conditioning, fully-equipped kitchen, washer, living room, fireplace, and televisionThe bedrooms very large, 4 of them suites with high ceilings graced with chandeliers and paintings throughout. The furnishings are antiques of rich woods, the floors tiles of marble and original richness. The kitchen of rich wood and the original cabinets. You don’t have to climb steps to arrive at the Villa so this property is very mobile friendly for those who require roadside access to a property.
