Lake Front, Lake Como Villa

I visited this property just at the end of 2019 prior to the pandemic and at that time the wonderful owner was in the process of renovating this property. I fell in love with the history of the old family mill, it was an authentic structure directly on the Lake for the convenience of the transportation of the goods by boat! Wow, the stone walls and masonry throughout needed to be retained. The unique patio in the front and large high windows, it’s a fascinating property. I was taken back in time, how incredible to stay in a historic mill on the lake, beneath the Alps. It’s lakefront and this is a rare feature to find in Lake Como, as well it is in a small town, where you can stroll and be taken back in time. The interior large mill was left in intact to retain the ambiance of the authenticity of the structure.

The property has many intricate and unique areas and openings from crescent shaped windows to a wooden bathtub! It’s been transformed into trendy and chic masterpiece, while retaining all of the original features. The pool is a new and lovely addition! Take an evening dip and watch the sun disappear behind the mountains! You will enjoy endless breezes!

The bedrooms are very large, the kitchen as well, with large French doors with outdoor access to the lake level terrace. E The dining area is in a stone incapsulated area, with lake views from every corner.  The outdoor space is lovely, with lots of room for outdoor lounging by the new pool, interior large areas.  This Villa has incredible views of the alps and the mountains as they reflect on the glossing lake.
